This game is set in what could be today's England- plenty of political strife, iPhones and trains that never run on time. No flying cars here! Though there is still an economic mess, a very wealthy, long-time fan of Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Starlight Express has put forth the money to purpose-build a theatre for the show. The theatre is based just outside London - near Clapham Junction. Very easy to commute to for fans, staff and cast alike.
This roleplay will revolve around the ups and downs of theatre life; arguments, stress, bumps and bruises from skate-school, and probably more than just a little rivalry. Each thread I start as Moderator will involve me making a random decision about an action which will occur, and taking a random character for it to occur to. If it's your character, good luck! It might be positive, it might be negative. Don't worry though; I'm not about to kill anyone off!
If you're really not happy with the event, I will pass it on.
In this game, you are welcome to apply for one of the "lead" roles, one of the "minor" roles, and as many backstage roles as you feel you can handle. Please sign-up with separate accounts for each different character you have; it just makes it a little easier for the rest of us to keep track of who's who and where!
